Industrial air-handling equipment with large supply fans in a clean mechanical room

HVAC Engineering

Dedusting, heating, cooling, and ventilation for industrial buildings and critical plant rooms

PASAPCO designs HVAC systems for steel and mineral processing plants, petrochemical facilities, power stations, and other industrial sites. Our work covers production buildings, warehouses, substations, control rooms, and electrical rooms. From load calculations and system selection to equipment layouts and construction documents, we address process heat, dust, air quality, equipment protection, and maintenance access alongside occupant comfort.

Engineering scope

Main services

Equipment layout

Arrangement of HVAC equipment, ductwork, and associated services with space for installation and maintenance, supported by 3D model reviews when needed.

Dust extraction and collection

Design of dust extraction systems, including capture hoods, ductwork, dust collectors, and exhaust fans for industrial process and material handling areas.

Electrical and control room HVAC

Cooling, humidity control, filtration, and room pressurization for MCC, PLC, switchgear, transformer, and battery rooms. Redundancy is considered where the room’s operational importance requires it.

Heating and cooling design

Calculation of thermal loads, fresh-air requirements, and infiltration to size HVAC systems and select suitable equipment.

Industrial ventilation

Design of general and local exhaust systems for industrial halls and areas affected by heat, dust, fumes, or other airborne contaminants.

Air distribution

Duct sizing and routing, pressure-loss calculations, fan and diffuser selection, and assessment of noise and vibration where relevant.

Fire and emergency ventilation

Integration of smoke extraction, escape-route pressurization, fire dampers, and emergency ventilation where required by the project and applicable codes.

HVAC equipment procurement support

Technical evaluation of heating, cooling, ventilation, and dust collection equipment for capacity, energy use, filtration performance, and noise. Review of vendor selections and installation requirements.
